Seed Translational Research Program (STRP)

Who is eligible? 

• Individuals and/or teams currently participating in the MSU Builders' Program are eligible to apply

What are the program requirements?

• Defining and meeting milestones as determine by a a team including yourself, industry mentors and Technology Transfer Office staff
• Work with Technology Transfer Office toseek alternative or supplementary funding, adapt project plans as necessary, andengage in coaching in order to improve project competitiveness- translating to upwards of 5 hours per week

What is a typical award amount?

• Initial award amounts for proof of concept or validation of viability of the project are $25,000.Individuals and teams that meet milestones may be eligible for additional funding

How do I apply? 

Current Builders' Program members will work with their team lead to progress to the STRP application.
